TOWNSHIP MANAGER
The Charter Township of Chocolay in Marquette County, Michigan seeking an individual to fill the position of Township Manager. At the direction of the Township Board, the Township Manager provides management of the overall function of Township operations. The Manager administers the annual budget and prepares contracts. This position exercises general supervision over all the departments and direct supervision over support staff.
At a minimum, the applicant must possess a Bachelors degree in public administration, engineering or equivalent background. Three (3) years experience in public sector management or a related field is required.
This is a part time, contractual, at-will position offering a competive salary and a prorated benefit package. A full job description and application can be obtained at the Township office.
